How to calculate the knee point voltage of CT?
When 10% increase in voltage gives you 50% increase in excitation current, then that voltage is known as knee point voltage. To measure the knee point voltage, At first demagnetize the CT and then apply voltage gradually from secondary keeping primary winding open-circuited. While doing this, the above phenomena will be observed then that voltage is recorded as the knee point voltage of the current transformer.
-Fixing system: Busbar support mounting, metallic bracket panel mounting, by an accessory;
directly to cable by screws(the accessory and the screws are supplied together with the C.T.
MEASURING TRANSFORMERS
-A range of (12 frames) compact design plastic case current transformer.
It's volume is much smaller than general model, integral hinged plate terminal cover,
DIN rail mounting all makes this series CT match the requirements in space limited panels.
TRANSFORMERS ELECTROINC USE
-These transformers are used for measuring current from 5A to 4000A,second current 5A/1A, cl.1-cl.0.2s.
Busbar dimensions from 0mm to 30X100mm.
